Grow into Discovery: 3-Day Garden Explorers Workshop (Ages 6–12)
Get ready to dig, plant and create at Garden Explorers! This exciting 3-day, 50-minute workshop series combines hands-on STEM learning and nature inspired fun. We will explore the amazing world of gardens, flowers and pollinators though creativity and science.
Day 1 — Painted Garden Pots
Kids will paint their very own flower pot, explore the life cycle of plants and plant a seed to take home and nurture.
Day 2 — Pollinator Putty
Kids will create their own colorful, nature inspired slime while learning about the important roll pollinators like bees and butterflies play in helping plants grow and flowers bloom.
Day 3 — Blooming Flower Art
Kids will create beautiful blooming flower art using colorful coffee filters while learning about chromatography, the science of how colors separate and travel through water.
